Celebrating Our New Customer: Thurles Recycling Centre 🇮🇪
We are delighted to welcome Thurles Recycling Centre, based in Tipperary, Ireland as the newest owner of the Arjes Compaktor 300.
Thurles Recycling Centre provides comprehensive recycling services, including home collections, covering materials such as paper, cardboard, general waste, bulky items, concrete and much more. Their mission is to help customers recycle more efficiently while keeping costs low.
Since receiving the Arjes Compaktor 300, four members of the Thurles team have been trained on the machine, which has already proven to be a game changer for their operations. The machine has shredded over 300 tons of waste wood, dramatically increasing operational efficiency. Trailers that previously carried 12–13 tons are now loaded with up to 25.5 tons, thanks to the significant volume reduction achieved by the Arjes 300.
In addition to wood, the machine is effectively handling bulky waste, plastics, tyres, and concrete, allowing the centre to better manage diverse waste streams. Thurles Recycling Centre also plans to begin processing green waste within the coming weeks to address backlog and further improve throughput.
Ray Nally, Managing Director of Thurles Recycling Centre, commented: “The Arjes Compaktor 300 has exceeded our expectations. It’s transformed how we handle our waste streams, saving time, space, and resources, and our team couldn’t be happier with its performance.”
The Arjes 300 has already made a remarkable impact, helping Thurles Recycling Centre operate more efficiently, sustainably, and profitably.
Whether you’re a waste disposal company, demolition contractor, or an operator looking to expand with mobile shredding capabilities, the COMPAKTOR 300 delivers up to 70% volume reduction, providing reliable, flexible performance in a compact footprint.
